This Privacy Policy explains how Word Frequency handles information when you use our text analysis tools, word tools, contact form, advertising, analytics, and security features.

Word Frequency is designed to provide free language and text tools with limited personal data collection. We do not intentionally store the text you submit for analysis, but some features require temporary processing or third-party services to work correctly.

Information we process

Text submitted for analysis: when you paste text into the analyzer and submit it, the text is sent to our server so we can calculate word frequency, metrics, lemmas, POS tags, KWIC examples, charts, and word cloud data.
Contact form data: when you contact us, we process the name, email address, message, and anti-spam verification data you provide.
Technical and usage data: our hosting, security, analytics, and advertising tools may process information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, timestamps, referring URLs, cookies, and similar identifiers.
Game and tool interactions: features such as Word Finder, Scrabble Word Finder, Word Guess Game, sample texts, and Wikipedia Analyser may process search terms, letters, guesses, or page interactions needed to return results.

How we use information

To provide text analysis results and related visualizations.
To operate vocabulary, dictionary, Scrabble, game, and Wikipedia word tools.
To respond to messages sent through the contact form.

Text analysis data

Text entered into the analyzer is processed to generate the requested results. We do not intentionally save analyzed text in our database, and we do not use submitted text to create public content.

Because submitted text must be transmitted to the server to generate results, you should avoid submitting confidential documents, passwords, financial information, health information, or other sensitive personal data.

Contact messages

If you submit the contact form, we may store your name, email address, and message so we can read, manage, and respond to your request. We may also send a notification email containing your message to the site owner or support mailbox.
